SKY PIRATES 4K Restoration Hitting Blu-ray This August
With INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY having just opened in cinemas, it seems the perfect time to report on Australia’s entry into the wave of INDIANA CLONES films that surfaced in the 1980s (following RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK) that’s arriving on Blu-ray this August.
From infamous Ozploitation producer John D. Lamond (NIGHTMARES, PACIFIC BANANA) and director Colin Eggleston (LONG WEEKEND, INNOCENT PREY) came 1986’s SKY PIRATES, starring a veritable who’s who of Australian film and television including Bill Hunter; John Hargreaves; Max Phipps and Meredith Phillips.
SKY PIRATES is making its global Blu-ray debut courtesy of Umbrella Entertainment in a stunning new 4K Restoration accompanied by a bounty of Special Feature content including over 40 minutes of trailers for INDIANA CLONES films.
